Volunteering with J4A is a meaningful way to contribute to justice and equality. By joining the team, you can support legal fairness, marginalized communities and social change through advocacy, education or direct support activities.
We are an experienced team with an open and energetic working culture. Our varied activities give volunteers room to find a role that fits them while maintaining serious standards of professionalism.
What you can do in J4A
Activities range from administrative tasks to fieldwork and research. They may include information campaigns, classroom activities, educational presentations, public events, training sessions, legal-support work and participation in international projects.
Who can volunteer?
We welcome people who want to make a positive impact regardless of educational or professional background. We look for engaged, responsible and easygoing people who can represent our core values: courage, integrity, professionalism, efficiency, proactive involvement and commitment to a just society.
- Minimum age: 18, in order to sign a volunteering contract.
- Ideally: around two hours per week, depending on activities.
- Both office-based and field activities, with no special fitness requirement.
- Activities can take place on weekdays, in the morning or afternoon.
Registration process
J4A periodically posts calls for action on its Facebook page and holds meetings for new volunteers so that people can get to know the organization and understand the steps involved. Facebook is currently an important communication channel for volunteer activities.
