Teaching and explaining law to poor and disadvantaged people is a crucial way to empower them and improve access to justice. Many people are unaware of their rights or of how to exercise them. Accessible legal information can increase confidence and the ability to engage with legal and social problems. The broader goal is to reduce inequality by supporting meaningful access to justice and participation in democratic governance and law reform.

J4A seeks cooperation with local, national and European universities to provide free expert sessions for students. Young people can discuss real-life scenarios with experienced law-enforcement and judicial professionals, understand mistakes to avoid and learn how to help others obtain the support they need. The aim is to pass practical field experience to the next generation.
